Republic of Korea-Pacific Islands Climate Prediction Services Project Video
The Republic of Korea-Pacific Islands Climate Prediction Services (ROK-PI CliPS - 1) project implemented from 2014 to 2017, aims to strengthen the adaptive capacity of Pacific Island Countries to climate risks at seasonal timescale.
The ROK-PI CliPS project was funded by the Government of Korea through the Pacific Island Forum Secretariat (PIFS) with the ROK-PIF Cooperation Fund, and was implemented by the APEC Climate Center (APCC) and the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP).

How to use PICASO.
The Pacific Island Countries Advanced Seasonal Outlook (PICASO) is one of the main products of the Republic of Korea-Pacific Islands Climate Prediction Services (ROK-PI CliPS) project completed on December 31, 2017. PICASO is a downscaled seasonal forecast offline software tailored for the Pacific region that allows Pacific Island National Meteorological Services to generate high quality 3 month rainfall forecast data for their own country.
